About yourself Hi, I'm Philipp Voulgaris from Berlin, Germany, 20 years old. I've been to Japan for 6 months in 2004 and stayed at Borderless Shinnakano house for 3 months. I just started studying medicine in Berlin.
I like kawaii (cute) girls who share my interests, but who also open up my eyes to new things in life. A girl who likes traveling and...karaoke and ufo-catcher of course.
I would like to travel a lot to meet many different people, and I would like to have a family with at least 3 children! On top of that a job that keeps me motivated.
Ganbatteiru! I am doing my best for the university now, and plan to move out next month. Plus, I want to boost my japanese skills, and maybe learn a new language.
Probably, my 6 months in Japan; 3 months in Tokyo, meeting new people and friends day by day, experiencing a new lifestyle and a new, completely different culture. Also, working in a retirement home in Hanyu, Japan for 3 of the 6 months. It was great!!!
Tough question. Say goodbye to my family and friends, then I would try my luck in climbing a very high mountain in the Himalayans maybe...
Give a lot to charity, buy awesome cars and a lot of presents. Then I would party with my best friends. The rest of the money I'll put on some account for my children to use. |

good point: it's cheap! not good: it was the smallest room in all of Borderless! it was freaking small, but it is enough to stay in for 3 months.
The house was great! Big livingroom and kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a roomy shower, very cool people. In addition, Shinnakano is a nice lively area close to shinjuku and shibuya! What more can you ask? No bad points.
Basically everyone is good for share life. You just have to be open-minded and able to interact with different cultures. Then you will have a great time.
I was in Japan the first time of my life, so I didn't want to live all on my own. Share-life is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and learn the language and culture too. Plus, it's cheaper and more fun than elsewhere.
I liked everyone in Shinnakano house very much. They're all very cool people. My best friend was probably Miso from Shinnakano, who I once went to Odaiba with. But seriously they are all down-to-earth, intersting and funny people.

About party Unfortunately, I only experienced a Gyoza-Party at Shinnakano house. It was a lot of fun. I met new friends and ate delicious gyoza. That party ruled! - Do you have any good idea of party? hmmm... maybe, self-made pizza-party or something! A Ohanami party is great too! but I guess there is one already... |

About Borderless-tokyo A friend, Manuel Shelley, who lived in Ikebukuro house, told me about it. He was told by another friend from Berlin.
Experiencing japanese lifestyle with cool people and a lot of fun, is priceless! It's not expensive and it's an experience you will seriously never forget!
People at borderless and especially Shinnakano
house: All the best for you! I'll be back to visit soon! Then let's
go to karaoke again! Everybody who is interested in visiting Japan
should seriously consider Borderless! You will have a great time, I
promise! Thanks a lot! Philopp!!
